Description

Japchae is a Korean dish made with sweet potato glass noodles, vegetables, and beef.


Ingredients

  • 200g sweet potato glass noodles
  • 150g beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Soak the sweet potato noodles in hot water for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pan, heat sesame oil and stir-fry the beef until cooked.
  3. Add garlic, onion, carrot, and bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Add the soaked noodles and spinach to the pan.
  5. Mix in soy sauce and sugar. Stir well to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
