- 2 carrots sliced
- 2 celery stalks sliced
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat.
- Cook chicken until browned.
- Add carrots celery and onion.
- Sauté until vegetables soften.
- Stir in garlic and thyme.
- Pour in chicken broth.
- Simmer for ten minutes.
- Mix cornstarch with milk.
- Stir the mixture into the pot.
- Add peas and cook until thick.
