Instructions

  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix to form a dough.
  3. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Roll out the dough into flat rounds.
  7. Brush rounds with olive oil and sprinkle with za’atar.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  9. Serve warm.
