Ingredients

  • 1 head garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • Sourdough bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Slice the top off the garlic head and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Wrap the garlic in foil and roast for 45 minutes.
  4. Allow the garlic to cool, then squeeze the cloves into a bowl.
  5. Add the beef tallow to the garlic and mix well until whipped.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Serve with slices of sourdough bread.
