A delicious Vietnamese dish made from fish and spices, fried to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 500g fish fillet
- 100g tapioca starch
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Blend the fish fillet until smooth.
- Add tapioca starch, egg, garlic, fish sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into small cakes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the fish cakes until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Serve with dipping sauce.
- Can be baked for a healthier version.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
