Ingredients

  • 4 whole grain burger buns
  • Leafy greens for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine mashed black beans, quinoa, carrots, bell pepper, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Form mixture into four patties.
  5. Grill patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until heated through and slightly crispy.
  6. Toast burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Assemble the burgers with leafy greens and sliced tomatoes.
