A rich and creamy vanilla bread pudding enhanced with prunes and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 4 cups of bread cubes
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of pitted prunes, chopped
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, prunes, and chocolate chips.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour the milk mixture over the bread mixture and let it soak for 30 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until set and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Reheat in the oven before serving.
