Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with melted butter.
  3. Layer phyllo dough in the dish, brushing each layer with butter.
  4. Spread pistachios evenly over the phyllo layers.
  5. Cover with more phyllo, brushing each layer with butter.
  6. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, vanilla, and lemon juice; bring to a boil.
  9. Simmer for 10 minutes and pour over baked baklava.
  10. Let it cool before serving.
