Description
A traditional Turkish flatbread topped with spiced lamb and fresh herbs.
Ingredients

- 500g ground lamb
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pieces of pide dough
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add the ground lamb, tomato paste, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until the lamb is browned.
- Roll out the pide dough into oval shapes on a floured surface.
- Spread the spiced lamb mixture evenly over the dough.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the edges are crispy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Serve with yogurt or a fresh salad.
- Adjust spices according to your taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
