Description
A delicious Turkish Milk Cake known as Trilece, flavored with rose water.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and sugar. Add eggs and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- In a separate bowl, combine whole milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and rose water.
- Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool.
- Poke holes in the cake using a fork.
- Pour the milk mixture over the cake slowly, allowing it to soak.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the soaked cake.
- Garnish with chopped pistachios.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use full-fat milk.
- Adjust rose water to taste.
- Can be made a day ahead.
