A traditional Turkish dish featuring flavorful meatballs served with rice.
Ingredients

- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups rice
- 4 cups water or broth
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, egg, parsley, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well and form into small meatballs.
- Heat oil in a pan and brown the meatballs on all sides.
- In a separate pot, boil water or broth and add rice.
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Once meatballs are cooked, serve them over rice.
Notes
- Adjust spices to your taste.
- Serve with a side of yogurt.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
