- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth.
- Slowly whisk in milk. Cook until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
- Add cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce. Mix well.
- Serve hot.
