Delicious thumbprint cookies shaped like hearts filled with jam.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup fruit jam (your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract, flour, cornstarch, and salt. Mix until combined.
- Shape dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Make an indentation in the center of each ball with your thumb.
- Fill each indentation with fruit jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.

- Keep cookies in an airtight container.
