- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Take the roast out of the refrigerator two hours before cooking.
- Preheat your oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and oil in a small bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture over the entire surface of the meat.
- Place the roast in a pan with the fat side facing up.
- Cook the roast for five minutes per pound.
- Turn off the oven and keep the door closed for two hours.
- Remove the meat and slice it for serving.
