Description
These treats have a white chocolate shell with a strawberry cake filling. You get a dessert shaped like an egg.
Ingredients

- 12 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons strawberry jam
Instructions
- Bake the strawberry cake as the package directs.
- Cool the cake then crumble it into a bowl.
- Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla to create frosting.
- Combine the frosting and strawberry jam with the cake crumbs.
- Melt the white chocolate wafers in 30 second bursts.
- Coat the inside of egg molds with the melted chocolate.
- Freeze the molds for five minutes.
- Press the cake mixture into each chocolate shell.
- Seal the eggs with more melted chocolate.
- Freeze for ten minutes before you pop them out of the molds.
Notes
- Use a silicone mold for easy removal.
- Keep the treats cold until you serve them.
- Decorate the outside with melted colored chocolate.
