- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into heart shapes.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla.
- Add diced strawberries to the cream cheese mixture.
- Place a spoonful of the mixture on each heart shape.
- Fold the edges over and seal.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.

- Adjust sugar based on sweetness preference.
