Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into heart shapes.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla.
  5. Add diced strawberries to the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Place a spoonful of the mixture on each heart shape.
  7. Fold the edges over and seal.
  8. Brush with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before serving.
