Steamed Bao Buns filled with tender pulled beef.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound beef brisket
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
- Add warm water and knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Cook the beef brisket in a slow cooker with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and broth for 6 hours on low.
- Shred the beef and mix with chopped green onions.
- Divide dough into small pieces and roll into circles.
- Place a spoonful of beef in the center of each circle.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
- Steam the buns for 15 minutes.

- Ensure the buns are sealed well to prevent leaking.
- Use a steamer basket lined with parchment paper.
