Ingredients

- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves.
- Boil Brussels sprouts in salted water for 8-10 minutes until tender.
- Drain and let them cool slightly.
- Place the sprouts on a baking sheet and gently smash each one with a fork.
- Drizzle olive oil over the smashed sprouts.
- Sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired and serve hot.
