Description

A sweet and creamy dessert made from sago, flavored with cardamom and topped with cashews.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup cashews, chopped

Instructions

  1. Soak sago in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse the sago.
  3. Boil 4 cups of water in a pot.
  4. Add soaked sago to boiling water.
  5. Cook until sago becomes translucent.
  6. Stir in coconut milk and sugar.
  7. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
  8. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  9. Serve topped with chopped cashews.

  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste.
