Description
A sweet and creamy dessert made from sago, flavored with cardamom and topped with cashews.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup sago
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup cashews, chopped
Instructions
- Soak sago in water for 30 minutes.
- Drain and rinse the sago.
- Boil 4 cups of water in a pot.
- Add soaked sago to boiling water.
- Cook until sago becomes translucent.
- Stir in coconut milk and sugar.
- Add cardamom powder and mix well.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Serve topped with chopped cashews.
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Can be served warm or cold.
