Instructions

  1. Rinse the basmati rice under cold water.
  2. Soak saffron in 2 tablespoons of warm water.
  3. In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add rice and toast for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and saffron water.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover.
  7. Cook for 15 minutes until rice is tender.
  8. While rice cooks, season chicken strips with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  9. Grill chicken on medium heat for 6-8 minutes per side.
  10. Fluff rice and serve with grilled chicken. Garnish with parsley.
