Instructions

  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, oil, buttermilk, vanilla, and food coloring.
  4. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until smooth.
  5. Pour batter into a greased and lined baking pan.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool slightly, then roll the cake in a clean kitchen towel.
  8. While it cools, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  9. Unroll the cake, spread the cream cheese mixture, and roll it back up.
  10. Chill for at least 1 hour before slicing.
