- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 0.75 cup melted butter
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 cup white sugar
- 8 ounces whipped topping
- 6 ounces raspberry gelatin mix
- 2 cups boiling water
- 12 ounces frozen raspberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix the pretzels, butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9 by 13 inch pan.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes.
- Let the crust cool completely.
- Beat the cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth.
- Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread this filling over the cooled crust.
- Refrigerate the pan for 30 minutes.
- Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water.
- Stir the frozen raspberries into the gelatin.
- Pour the raspberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate the dessert for 3 hours or until firm.
Notes
- Spread the cream cheese layer to the very edges of the pan.
- This prevents the gelatin from leaking into the crust.
- Use a stand mixer for the smoothest filling.
