Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 0.75 cup melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 8 ounces whipped topping
  • 6 ounces raspberry gelatin mix
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 12 ounces frozen raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix the pretzels, butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9 by 13 inch pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes.
  5. Let the crust cool completely.
  6. Beat the cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth.
  7. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Spread this filling over the cooled crust.
  9. Refrigerate the pan for 30 minutes.
  10. Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water.
  11. Stir the frozen raspberries into the gelatin.
  12. Pour the raspberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  13. Refrigerate the dessert for 3 hours or until firm.

Notes

  • Spread the cream cheese layer to the very edges of the pan.
  • This prevents the gelatin from leaking into the crust.
