Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, and vegetable oil.
  3. Add eggs and combine well.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in walnuts if using.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
