- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
- In a bowl, mix sliced strawberries with sugar.
- Place a spoonful of strawberries on half of the heart shapes.
- Cover with the remaining heart shapes and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
