This dessert contains layers of butter cookies, bananas, and vanilla pudding.

- 2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies
- 8 bananas sliced
- 2 cups milk
- 5 ounces instant French vanilla pudding mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 12 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed
Instructions
- Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 inch dish with one bag of cookies.
- Place sliced bananas over the cookies.
- Whisk milk and pudding mix in a bowl until the mixture thickens.
- Beat cream cheese and condensed milk in a separate bowl until the texture is smooth.
- Fold whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
- Stir the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread this mixture over the bananas.
- Top the dish with the remaining cookies.
- Chill the pudding for four hours before you serve it.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for more sweetness.
- Keep the pudding cold until you serve it.
- Cut bananas just before you assemble the dish.
