- 1 cup pistachios, ground
- 200g kunafa pastry
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare kunafa by shredding it and mixing with melted butter.
- Spread the kunafa mixture in a baking dish and bake until golden.
- In a bowl, whisk heavy cream and sugar until soft peaks form.
- Add milk, ground pistachios, and vanilla to the cream mixture.
- Fold the cream mixture into the baked kunafa.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve chilled and garnish with extra pistachios.

- Ensure kunafa is evenly baked for best texture.
- Adjust sugar according to your taste.
- Can substitute heavy cream with whipped topping for a lighter version.
