Description
A classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich made with thinly sliced beef, melted cheese, and sautéed onions on a hoagie roll.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until soft.
- Increase heat and add sliced steak, cooking until browned.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Divide steak and onions among hoagie rolls.
- Top each with provolone cheese.
- Cover with a lid until cheese melts.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add bell peppers.
- Use Cheez Whiz instead of provolone for a classic taste.
