Description
Omurice is a Japanese dish consisting of fried rice wrapped in a thin omelette and topped with demiglace sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup chicken, diced
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Demiglace sauce for topping
Instructions
- Heat a pan and add oil.
- Sauté onions until translucent.
- Add chicken and cook until no longer pink.
- Add peas and carrots, then stir in rice.
- Add ketchup and soy sauce, mix well.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and milk, then season with salt and pepper.
- In another pan, make a thin omelette with the egg mixture.
- Place the fried rice on one side of the omelette and fold it over.
- Serve topped with demiglace sauce.

- Use leftover rice for better texture.
- Adjust sauce according to taste.
