Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine oats and boiling water. Let sit for 30 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and mix well.
  5. Stir in the oat mixture.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  8. Fold in chocolate chips.
  9. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
