Description
You cook chicken breasts in a skillet and cover them with mozzarella. You make a sauce with cream, garlic, and basil.

- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup basil
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Season your chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place chicken in the skillet and cook for 6 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken from the pan.
- Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour cream into the skillet and simmer.
- Stir in parmesan and basil until the sauce thickens.
- Place chicken back into the skillet.
- Top chicken with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover the pan for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
Notes
- Use basil for flavor.
- Check that chicken reaches 165 degrees.
- Serve with pasta or vegetables.
