  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the meatballs until browned on all sides.
  5. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  6. Stir in crushed tomatoes and sugar, simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Make wells in the sauce and crack the eggs into each well.
  8. Cover and cook until eggs are set.
  9. Serve hot.
