- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4 eggs
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the meatballs until browned on all sides.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and sugar, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Make wells in the sauce and crack the eggs into each well.
- Cover and cook until eggs are set.
- Serve hot.
