Ingredients

  • 500g minced meat
  • 2 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onion is translucent.
  3. Add minced meat and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, curry powder, cumin, coriander, and salt.
  5. Add diced potatoes and mix well.
  6. Pour in enough water to cover the potatoes.
  7. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover the pan.
  8. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
