Description
A rich, fudge-like dessert made with matcha green tea.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200g dark chocolate
- 100g unsalted butter
- 150g sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 50g all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl over simmering water.
- In another bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs until pale.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and stir.
- Sift in the flour and matcha powder, then fold gently.
- Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Pour the batter into a lined baking dish.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes.
- Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator for freshness.
- Serve with whipped cream or fresh berries.
- Can be made a day ahead for better flavor.
