Description

Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 50g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl over simmering water.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs until pale.
  3. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and stir.
  4. Sift in the flour and matcha powder, then fold gently.
  5. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a lined baking dish.
  7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.
