Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 Halal beef sausage
  • 1 mozzarella stick
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add milk and sugar to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
  3. Insert a skewer into the beef sausage and mozzarella stick.
  4. Dip the sausage and cheese into the batter, coating completely.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the coated corn dogs until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
