Description

Delicious Knafeh Chocolate Crunch Bars with layers of rich chocolate and crispy pastry.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g of kataifi pastry
  • 100g of unsalted butter, melted
  • 200g of dark chocolate, chopped
  • 150g of sweetened condensed milk
  • 50g of crushed nuts (pistachios or walnuts)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix kataifi pastry with melted butter.
  3. Press half of the mixture into a baking pan.
  4. Melt chocolate with sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat.
  5. Add vanilla extract and stir until smooth.
  6. Pour chocolate mixture over the pressed kataifi layer.
  7. Sprinkle crushed nuts on top of the chocolate layer.
  8. Cover with the remaining kataifi mixture.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
