Description
Karahi Gosht is a traditional Pakistani dish made with meat and spices, cooked in a wok-like pan called a karahi.
Ingredients

- 1 kg mutton, cut into pieces
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a karahi over medium heat.
- Add the onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
- Add mutton pieces and cook until browned.
- Add tomatoes, green chilies, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Cover and let it cook on low heat until the meat is tender.
- Once cooked, sprinkle garam masala on top.
- Garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve hot with naan or rice.
Notes
- Adjust spices according to your taste.
- For a richer flavor, use ghee instead of oil.
