Description
Japanese Chicken Katsu Sando is a crispy chicken cutlet sandwich served on fluffy milk bread.
Ingredients

- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 slices of fluffy milk bread
- Ton katsu sauce
- Shredded cabbage
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dip each breast in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken and drain on paper towels.
- Slice the chicken into strips.
- Spread tonkatsu sauce on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer shredded cabbage and chicken on two slices of bread.
- Top with the remaining bread slices and slice in half to serve.
Notes
- Use fresh chicken for best results.
- Adjust the amount of sauce to your taste.
- Serve with pickles for added flavor.
