Jalapeño poppers are spicy, cheesy snacks perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

- 12 jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut jalapeños in half and remove seeds.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Add bacon if using, and mix well.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Top with breadcrumbs.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Wear gloves when handling jalapeños.
- Adjust spice level by leaving some seeds in.
- Experiment with different cheeses.
