Description
A traditional Pakistani dish made with tender mutton cooked in a spicy and flavorful karahi.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 kg mutton, cut into pieces
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 2 onions, sliced
- 4 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large karahi over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
- Add mutton pieces and cook until browned.
- Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, and spices.
- Cover and cook on low heat until mutton is tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve with lemon wedges.

- Adjust spices according to your taste.
- Serve with naan or rice.
- Can add yogurt for creaminess.
