Description
A delicious Halal kofte stuffed in pita pockets.
Ingredients

- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup tahini sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Form the mixture into small patties.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Warm pita breads in a separate pan or microwave.
- Assemble by placing patties in pita, then add lettuce, tomato, and tahini sauce.
Notes
- For spicier flavor, add chili flakes to the meat mixture.
- Serve with pickles for added crunch.
