Description
A traditional Puerto Rican drink made with coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and spices, adapted to be halal.
Ingredients

- 1 can coconut milk
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup rum (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup sugar (to taste)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, and regular milk.
- Add rum, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.
- Blend until smooth.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- Serve in glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Notes
- Use halal-certified rum or omit it for a non-alcoholic version.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to a week.
