Description

A traditional Puerto Rican drink made with coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and spices, adapted to be halal.


Ingredients

  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup rum (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup sugar (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, and regular milk.
  2. Add rum, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  6. Serve in glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
