Description
A delicious, halal version of the classic carbonara pasta.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200g spaghetti
- 100g halal bacon or turkey bacon
- 2 eggs
- 50g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
- In a pan, cook the halal bacon until crispy.
- Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Drain spaghetti and add it to the pan with bacon and garlic.
- Remove from heat and quickly mix in the egg and cheese mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- Make sure the bacon is fully halal certified.
- You can use any type of pasta.
- For a creamier sauce, add a splash of cream.
