- 2 large potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup diced green onions
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Cut them into fries and soak in cold water for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan to 350°F.
- Drain and dry the potatoes, then fry until golden brown.
- Remove fries and drain on paper towels.
- Sprinkle with salt and garlic powder.
- Top with cheese, bacon bits, sour cream, and green onions.
- Serve immediately.
