  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix gochujang, melted butter, soy sauce, honey, garlic, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get under the skin.
  4. Place the chicken in a roasting pan.
  5. Roast the chicken for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
