- 1 kg small potatoes
- 500 ml clarified tallow
- Salt to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- Wash and peel the small potatoes.
- In a baking dish, place the potatoes and cover them with clarified tallow.
- Sprinkle salt over the potatoes.
- Add fresh herbs if desired.
- Cover the dish with foil.
- Bake in the oven for 2 hours.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use small, waxy potatoes for best results.
- You can infuse the tallow with garlic or herbs for more flavor.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to a week.
