Ingredients

  • 500 ml clarified tallow
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. Wash and peel the small potatoes.
  3. In a baking dish, place the potatoes and cover them with clarified tallow.
  4. Sprinkle salt over the potatoes.
  5. Add fresh herbs if desired.
  6. Cover the dish with foil.
  7. Bake in the oven for 2 hours.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use small, waxy potatoes for best results.
  • You can infuse the tallow with garlic or herbs for more flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to a week.
