Description
This dish combines bread and custard. You prepare it at night. You bake it in the morning.

- 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter
Instructions
- Grease a baking dish.
- Put bread cubes in the dish.
- Mix eggs milk cream sugar and vanilla.
- Pour the mix over the bread.
- Cover the dish.
- Chill in the fridge for 8 hours.
- Mix flour brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut in the butter.
- Spread crumbs over the bread.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Notes
- Use dry bread.
- Serve with syrup.
- Add nuts.
