- 3 pounds sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar for topping
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup pecans
Instructions
- Boil sweet potato chunks in water until soft.
- Drain water and put potatoes in a bowl.
- Mash potatoes.
- Mix in butter milk sugar vanilla and eggs.
- Put mixture into a pan.
- Combine flour sugar butter and pecans in a bowl.
- Put pecan mixture on potatoes.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Notes
- You can use canned sweet potatoes to save time.
- Prepare the base early and keep it cold.
- Put marshmallows on top for sweetness.
