- 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 0.25 cup parmesan cheese
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Boil water in a pot.
- Add salt to the water.
- Cook your pasta as the package says.
- Add broccoli for the last three minutes of boiling.
- Drain the pasta and broccoli.
- Heat oil in the pot.
- Cook garlic for one minute.
- Put pasta and broccoli in the pot.
- Mix with cheese and pepper.
Notes
- Use frozen broccoli if you lack fresh florets.
- Add lemon juice for more taste.
- Store leftovers in a closed container for three days.
