Description
This meal combines ground beef and rice with Cajun spices. You cook everything in one pan.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 chopped yellow onion
- 1 chopped green bell pepper
- 2 chopped celery stalks
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until brown.
- Drain the fat from the pan.
- Add the onion, bell pepper, and celery to the skillet.
- Cook the vegetables until they are soft.
- Stir in the garlic and cook for one minute.
- Add the rice, beef broth, Cajun seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Bring the liquid to a boil.
- Turn the heat to low and cover the pan.
- Simmer for 20 minutes until the rice is tender.
- Stir in the parsley and serve.

- Use lean beef to save time on draining fat.
- Rinse your rice to prevent sticking.
