Description
A sweet and nutty dessert made with dates, chocolate, and phyllo pastry.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate, melted
- 6 sheets phyllo pastry
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix dates, walnuts, almonds, and melted chocolate.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface and brush with melted butter.
- Layer another sheet on top and brush with butter again.
- Place a spoonful of the date mixture on one end of the pastry.
- Roll the pastry tightly around the filling.
- Place the roll on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Repeat with remaining sheets and filling.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool and cut into bites.

- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
